Built to be usable by everyone.
An apartment search should not depend on how you see, hear or move. This site is built to WCAG 2.1 AA, and we would rather hear about a barrier than have you work around it.
What we build to
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, and the focus is always visible.
- Every image has a description, or is marked decorative so screen readers skip it.
- Text meets WCAG AA contrast against its background, and state is never shown by color alone.
- Every form field has a visible label; errors are announced.
- Motion respects your system’s reduced-motion setting.
- Pages fit a phone without sideways scrolling, and controls are large enough to tap.
These are checked automatically on every change to the site, on both a desktop browser and a phone.
What we do not do
We do not install accessibility overlays or widgets. They interfere with the assistive technology people already use; accessibility is built into the pages themselves.
Accessibility needs in your search
The search brief has an “accessibility need” option. Tell us what matters — ground floor, step-free entry, an accessible bathroom, proximity to services — and it becomes part of how we search and what we confirm with each community.
