What we collect when you search for an apartment with Knockworthy, what we do with it, and what we will never do.
Who we are
Knockworthy is an apartment-locating service operated by Hampson Properties LLC, a licensed Texas real estate brokerage. This notice covers this website and the search service it starts.
What we collect
- What you tell us in the search brief: your first name, mobile number and, if you give it, email; your move timing, budget, household and pets, commute, priorities and anything you type in a notes field.
- Private details, if you choose to share them: the optional step of the brief about credit, rental history or income documentation. These are stored separately from your Game Plan and are visible only to the licensed professionals handling your search.
- How you use your Game Plan: which communities you mark as liked, maybe or not for you, and tour requests you make.
- Consent records: the wording you agreed to, when, and the network address it came from, so we can show that you asked us to contact you.
- Technical information: the usual server logs (address, browser, pages requested) needed to run the site and protect it from abuse. We do not run advertising trackers.
What we use it for
- To search for apartments that fit what you told us, build your Game Plan, and coordinate tours you ask for.
- To text, email or call you about your search — only after you have agreed to that, and only about your search. Reply STOP to any text to end texts.
- To register you as a referral with communities you choose to tour or apply to, which is how we are paid.
- To keep records the Texas Real Estate Commission requires a brokerage to keep.
Who we share it with
- Apartment communities you choose. When you ask to tour or apply, we give that community your name and contact details and note that we referred you. We do not send your budget, your private details or your other options.
- Service providers that run our systems — hosting, database, text messaging and email delivery — under contracts that limit them to providing the service.
- Nobody else. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. Your mobile number and your text-message consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
What we will never do
- Put your income, credit or rental history on your Game Plan or share it with a community without asking you first.
- Contact you about anything other than your search, unless you ask.
- Describe a neighborhood or community by who lives there. Fair housing is the law and the right thing.
How long we keep it
For as long as your search is active and as long afterwards as Texas brokerage record-keeping rules require. You can ask us to close your search at any time.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text message to stop texts, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
- Ask your locator to correct, close or delete your search brief.
- Your Game Plan and status links are private to you. Do not share them; ask us for a fresh link if one is exposed.
